last night i had a super weird dream, and to be quite honest most of it was based off the plot of an anime (sukisho...) i was this pink haired dude with a latent split personality...it was the first day of high school and we had to choose our hogwarts house but we just had to pick which teacher we liked the best and the option i chose was Pete, the subeta NPC. i chose him because everyone said that he was usually too tipsy to come into school most days.
anyway, there was a party in our dorm after we were assigned rooms. i was hanging in my room when i saw the Blue Haired guy from sukisho. for reference heres a pic:

wow, he's so dreamy right.
i saw him and instantly had a flashback to when we were in elementary school and a demon possessed him and i was the only one who noticed :/ apparently because of the fact that he was possessed by demons made me REALLY hate him. then i realized i was dreaming! i almost never lucid dream or anything like that so i was super excited and decided i needed to try and make him fall in love with me. i guess we were somehow assigned the same room and i knew that was just step one of us falling in love. i was gonna show him the extreme watergun collection i had snuck into the school when i woke up an hour after my alarm went off.
i was super pissed when i woke up because i was determined to make him fall in love with me lol...he wasnt even THAT CUTE!
share any lucid dreams you've had or any just plain WEIRD ones if you've never lucid dreamed before!! i could honestly go on all day about weird dreams i've had.
Woah, that sounds awesome! I'm so jealous, I've tried so many things to get into a routine (or at least occasional) habit of lucid dreaming, most often WILD (Wake-Induced Lucid Dreaming) which is basically "lie in bed for a really long time when you're not tired with your eyes closed and be patient". It worked once for me, and when it did I did the opposite of what you're apparently supposed to do ("don't freak out in excitement when you realize you're lucid") so it was pretty much just a couple of seconds of watching myself get out of bed. Was hoping for something a little more exciting, but hey! One step forward.
As for just plain bizarre dreams, once I had a dream where I went to jail for eating scrambled eggs. I hope that's not some sort of prophecy, because I really like scrambled eggs.I wish I could say that I have good experience with lucid dreaming, but I don't. There have been many times where I've teetered between consciousness and unconsciousness trying to force a lucid dream, but to no avail. Now, there HAVE been times when I've been dreaming and thought to myself that I might be dreaming. This normally happens in dreams where I'm flying and, for whatever the reason, have difficulty staying in the air or lifting off. So I try to force myself into flight thinking it might be a dream, and if it is I should be able to just... fly. But the more I try to force it the more I end up struggling. This circumstance is- literally- the only time I've been genuinely close to having a lucid dream. I'm envious of anyone who can have them and have them often.
I never really experienced lucid dreaming... Usually, it's just that I'll pass slowly from a dream state to a waking one where my imagination just takes the place of the dream until I realize I've been awake for a couple minutes and just stay in bed to let these fictions run a bit longer.
But I do have a small load of weird dreams on my list! Unfortunately, none are quite recent. In fact I'm almost certain I don't recall any dreams in the last... 4 years I think? The cause is quite simple : parental exhaustion. :P
But hey! Here's one of my weird dreams. I don't recall much of this one, but I do have a few "scenes" in memory, most are now foggy but one has strike me so much, it's still clear in my mind.
I was with a few people (adventurer-like medieval costumed random characters, well you get the idea) and we were running from something in a cavern-like maze. I found myself alone in a cavern were I needed to walk close to the wall on a small stretch of rocks to get to the other side, where there was light. But in the middle of the way, there was a kind of round bronze shield lying on the ground. On it was embossed a large menacing skull in a paler material. I was afraid of the shield, so afraid I took a few steps back. Then, the surface of the shield seemed to change. It was now like a bottomless pit bubbling of some kind of dark ooze, mid-way between liquid and gas. A large skeletal hand and arm stretched out of the hole, dragging a larger than human full skeleton to the surface. As the monstrosity emerged, lumps of a muddy brown-reddish substance, oozing from the sides of the hole, was sticking to the bones to form a muscular-like structure to the creature.
I do remember that at this moment where the horror was at a peak, my conscious self snapped in to say : " If I were there, I'd be screaming in terror." as the skeletal monster ran towards me.
And that's about where I woke up, not in a panic but uneasy and a bit confused. Was it a dream, a nightmare or my imagination going way wrong this time? I'm still not sure. I did think about it for a while, and what I'm sure is that "I" was the character of the dream at first, but in the last seconds, the character was not "I" anymore even though I still view the dream from it's eyes.
I don't know if I'm being clear on this :P Anyway, the post's already long. I look forward reading other people's dream too!
I have multiple weird dreams every night, i always have, sometimes i can kinda figure out why i dreamed whatever it is that i dreamed (maybe i saw something on facebook/ifunny/etc before i went to bed) other times, i wake up and am like wtf, i had a dream last week about the earth "restarting" i cant even put it into words lol!
I'm usually aware that I'm dreaming, so if a dream looks like it's going to end up being bad I change things. Say I'm infiltrating a building - which I'll sometimes see from someone else's point of view - and I'm about to get caught, I'll think something like "they hear something else and go away." Other times I've turned back time if a dream goes awry to try again. There have also been times where I'm in a boring dream and I'm just like "Well, this sucks" and I fly somewhere else.
Today I dreamt that I was going on a tour in a huge submarine and spotted these huge goblin head creatures. But I can't remember if this came before or after, whenever a neighbour accused me of being a witch I turned them into a goat.
Sukisho was the series that broke my yaoi-cherry, haha.
I remember my dreams once in a while. Maybe about once a month? I try write as much as I can remember down when it does happen. They make interesting memories too look back on.
I often have lucid dreams that I'm able to manipulate in some way , though they are often distressing and nightmarish. It isn't often than I have a nice dream :O I have trouble sleeping, staying asleep etc, so I think I'm a light sleeper, and I'm often stressed and anxious while falling asleep so I think it carries over into my dreams... I started gaining control of my dreams after having a load of horrid recurring nightmares, it was horrible , and I think my subconscious self was desperate to get control of it :P
I don't know, I've always been a lucid dreamer. My earliest dream that I remember clearly, I was in kindergarten. My friend and neighbor, who went to a different school, came to my school. We were in the cafeteria and we couldn't go outside to play, but we snuck out anyways and then we were playing 'witches'. It was dusk out, and then we were hopping around on our broomsticks and discovered that we could actually fly with them! We flew up for a bit, no higher than the top of the school building, and watched the stars. Then, a UFO descends and we are awed as a soft green glow bathes us in its light, and we descend up to the spaceship. Then, from an outside point of view, I watch the spaceship take me and my friend away into the stars, disappearing completely, and my dream ends. It might vary here and there, as I wish, but that's pretty much the gist of that dream.
So yeah, I knew I was dreaming and changed things in that dream, and other dreams as well. I've just always had that, hm, I don't want to call it an ability, but I guess option maybe? I've just always been able to lucid dream.

Lucid dreams are very rare for me. The last time I remember one is me remember that I was a dream so I could breathe in water.
What I do have nearly every night are vivid dreams. They range from something fairly tame and fuzzy to the dream being like reality. I've had all my senses infiltrate my dreams, like I've tasted coconut curry soup and smelled grandma's house. I almost never remember my dreams fully, so I can't think of a specific one to share.
